SIALKOT, Nov 11: On the orders of the Lahore High Court (LHC), Daska police on Thursday registered a case against its SHO, a sub-inspector, two ASI, and ten policemen for trespassing on the house of a citizen, humiliating his family members and 'occupying' the land.

Reports said SHO Inspector Mian Tauseef along with other officials stormed in the house of Naseer Akhtar in Haqpura, Daska, took away valuables and allegedly occupied the land after demolishing the building.

The victim family moved the LHC against the alleged police high-handedness.

The case was registered under Sections 148, 149, 395, 440, 452 and 506 of the PPC. No arrest had yet been made by the police in this regard.

ASI BOOKED: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) officials on Thursday raided Daska City police station and caught ASI Gulzar Khan red-handed while taking Rs3,000 as bribe from councillor Muhammad Arshad Cheena in a minor case.

The accused ASI has been sent behind the bars while the ACE has started investigation after registering a case.
