ABBOTTABAD, Nov 11: Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob, has said that a train service between Havelian and Karachi via Faisalabad will begin from Nov 20 and the Chenab Express service will start its journey from Havelian instead of Rawalpindi from now on.

Talking to journalists here on Thursday, Mr Yaqoob said the new service would be beneficial to the people of Hazara, especially of Mansehra and Kohistan districts, as hundreds and thousands of people of these localities worked in lower parts of country especially in Karachi.

The deputy speaker said that railways booking offices would be also opened in Balakot, Kohistan and Battagram.

At present, only 72 seats could be booked from Havelian in Tezro but with the beginning of a full train service from Havelian it will reduce the problems of the people of Hazara.

According to schedule, the Chenab Express will begin its journey at 6.30pm and will reach Karachi next day at 9.30pm.
