Indian PM satisfied with EU summit


NEW DELHI, Nov 10: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed satisfaction on the outcome of his talks with European Union leaders in The Hague on his return to New Delhi on Wednesday.

Mr Singh described the summit with European Union leaders as politically and economically significant which would further increase cooperation between India and the EU in these fields.

Upon his arrival at the airport, Mr Singh said the international environment for India's development was highly favourable and there was tremendous goodwill for the country in the world outside.

He said it was now up to "us to take necessary decisions which will get the country moving again".-dpa
