KARACHI: KU extends date for interviews


KARACHI, Nov 8: The Computer Science Department of Karachi University announced on Monday that the interviews of those Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) candidates which were scheduled for Nov 11 would be held on Nov 22 at 4pm as the university would be closed on Nov 11 on account of Shab-i-Qadar.

Meanwhile, the university announced on Monday that the last date for submission of admission forms of the MCS/PGD programme for both the morning and evening shifts had been extended.

According to a KU press release, the prospectus and admission form can be purchased from the UBL campus branch, Silver Jubilee Gate and deposited in the office of the computer science department till Nov 12 during the office hours.

The aptitude test will be held on Nov 18 at 3pm for Master of Computer Science programme and on Nov 19 at 3pm for PGD programme.

KU Closed today: The University of Karachi and its affiliated colleges will remain closed on Tuesday on account of Iqbal Day.

This was notified by KU Registrar Syed Sikander Mehdi on Monday.

He said that the university and its affiliated colleges would also remain shut on Nov 11 on account of Shab-i-Qadr.-PPI/APP
