Farhan defies Sialkot

LAHORE, Nov 5: An unbeaten 92 by Farhan Adil kept Karachi Blues' slim hope of gaining first innings lead alive against Sialkot in Quaid-i-Azam Trophy at National Stadium, Karachi on second day Friday.

Farhan cracked 13 fours off 128 balls as Karachi Blues were 208 for seven by the close of play in reply to Sialkot's first innings of 300 which they made after resuming at 276 for nine wickets.

Medium pacer Muhammad Asif had claimed four wickets for 62 while another strike bowler Sarfraz Ahmad snapped three wickets for 66. Earlier, Pakistan Test fast bowler Muhammad Sami took four wickets for 77 to help Karachi to prevent Sialkot from achieving bigger total.
