Misbah's fighting knock

LAHORE, Nov 4:Despite fine batting by Misbahul Haq, Peshawar gained 48-run lead in the first innings against Faisalabad in Quaid-i-Azam Trophy at Iqbal Stadium, on Thursday.

Misbah scored 70 (14 fours, 94 balls) but Faisalabad were all out for 201 in reply to Peshawar first innings total of 249 which they scored after resuming at 228-7 in which medium- pacer Shahid Nazir had a major role taking six wickets for only 18 runs.

At stumps, Peshawar were eight without loss in second innings.
