LAHORE, Nov 4: The three-member Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) bowling advisory committee will have a look at the off-spinner Shoaib Malik's bowling action in Lahore on Friday.
Shoaib's bowling action had been declared suspect by the Australian's umpire Simon Taufel and Pakistan's Aleem Dar during the recently concluded three-nation One-day tournament also involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
The three-member committee are Aaqib Javed, Iqbal Sikandar and Ijaz Faqih. The advisory committee's report will be presented to the PCB appointed bowling review committee which includes Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer, former Australian off-spinner Bruce Yardley, former Pakistan pace bowler Waqar Younis, Ijaz Faqih and PCB umpires manager Khizer Hayat.
The advisory council has received the video footage of Shoaib's action from ICC. Shoaib, who was declared the Man-of-the-Match of tri-nation tournament by claiming seven wickets and scoring 260 runs, was passing through the same situation two years before when his action was questioned at Sharjah.
