Two Al Qaeda suspects held

QUETTA, Nov 2: Security agencies have rounded up two Al Qaeda suspects, including a foreign national, from the Satellite Town area.

The "Suspects include an Iraqi national," sources said, identifying him as Khaled. The nationality of the other suspect could not be ascertained.

Officials said that personnel of security agencies had raided a house on Monday night in the Satellite Town area on receiving a tip about their presence there. The suspects, they said, offered no resistance, adding that they were being interrogated.

"They were in Quetta in connection with an arms deal," sources said. No further details were available till the filing of this report.
