LAHORE: Grade-21 for senior doctors

LAHORE, Nov 2: The Punjab Governor has granted BPS-21 to Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital principal Prof Dr Sibtul Hasnain and Punjab Institute of Cardiology head Prof Dr Jawad Sajid Khan in recognition of their meritorious services.

The governor has granted BPS-21 to Dr Hasnain, professor of medicine; and Dr Khan, professor of cardiac surgery; as personal to them (in the same posts) with immediate effect.

Both the professors have been granted higher grades in terms of provisions of the policy issued by the Punjab government.

The Punjab government has meanwhile posted Capt (retired) Saif Anjum, officer on special duty, Services and General Administration department, as deputy secretary, Punjab Home department, against a vacant post.
