HYDERABAD, Oct 31: The Sindh Paramedical Staff Association will launch a protest movement in government hospitals after Eidul Fitr for approval of service structure and appointment of children of deceased and retired employees against vacant posts in the hospitals.

This decision was taken at an Iftar party hosted by local SPSA leader Abdul Ghaffar Memon for office-bearers of the association here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, association president Mohammad Musharraf and secretary-general Asghar Ali Pathan said inordinate delay in approval of the service structure of the paramedical staff was an injustice with the employees as their promotions had been held up for years together.

They said two years back the then Sindh health minister and the director-general of the health services in consultation with SPSA office-bearers had drafted the service structure of the paramedical staff but no further action had been taken in the matter.

They said this had created unrest among the employees.

OFFICE SHIFTED: The office of the deputy district officer, revenue, Hyderabad taluka, has been shifted from the Sindh Seed Corporation building, Hussainabad, to the Shahbaz Building. This was notified by the DDO.
