SHIKARPUR: Corruption cases discussed

SHIKARPUR, Oct 30: The district anti-corruption committee-2 at a meeting held here on Saturday discussed 50 corruption cases registered against government officials.
The anti-corruption police had registered the cases four years ago against the officials of different departments for their alleged involvement in misappropriation of funds, change of Khata and other corrupt practices.
The committee decided to submit charge-sheets in the court of the special judge, anti-corruption, Larkana, against ASI Imamuddin Marfani, head constables Mohammad Punhal Bhayo and Mazar Mahar, constables Preno Bharchoond, Nisar Ahmad Malik, Noor Ahmad Junejo and Hakim Ali Buriro, Tapedars Abdul Rasheed Bhayo, Abdul Rasool Mahar, Hakim Ali Chachar and Ghulam Mustafa Sanjrani, civilian Noor Mohammad Pahore and forest guard Amir Bux Mazari.
The committee directed the anti-corruption police to register cases against Tapedar Ghulam Nabi Laghari, clerk Munir Ahmad Soomro, ADO, education, Garhi Yasin, Razia Solangi, clerk Mohammad Younis Shaikh, head clerk Roshan Ali Mahar of and sales inspector Mushtaq Ahmad Bapar.
The police were also directed to hold inquiries against 10 government employees. The committee also ordered for departmental enquiry against 11 other employees.
The DCO presided over the meeting which was attended by the deputy director of the anti-corruption establishment, Larkana, circle officer of the anti-corruption police, Shikarpur, and other district officers.
