HYDERABAD, Oct 30: Only two sugar mills have started sugarcane crushing in Sindh while the other 25 have submitted statements to the provincial cane commissioner, undertaking to begin crushing from November 1.

The cane commissioner confirmed that the Faran and Tharparkar sugar mills had started crushing whereas the undertaking on behalf of 25 mills had been obtained.

He claimed that if the crushing season smoothly went on this year, next year there would be better production of sugarcane which was in short supply this year.

RESULT: Controller of Examinations University of Sindh has announced the results of B.Sc (hons) Part-I, Part-II, Part-III and M.Sc (hons) final geography of improver/unsuccessful students of the 2003 batch.

ADMISSIONS: Director Admissions University of Sindh announced here on Friday that admission forms for four semester M.Sc degree program in criminology for the session of 2004-05 will be issued to the candidates on Nov 2.

The last date for submission of the forms has been fixed as Nov 20.

He also announced the results of BS (telecommunication) Part-II (morning batch), B.Sc (hons) Part-II telecommunication (morning batch) improver examination of 2003 old batch, BS (electronics part-III (morning batch) regular and B.Sc (hons) Part-III electronics (morning batch) of improver candidates semester examination of 2003.
