CM orders action against officers

QUETTA, Oct 29: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf has ordered action against officers not implementing government orders. The chief minister took serious notice of the attitude of some government officers at a meeting here on Friday evening. The meeting reviewed progress of work on various development projects particularly concerning rehabilitation of drought-hit areas.

Jam Yousuf expressed dissatisfaction over steps taken by officials to maintain financial and administrative discipline. "I will not tolerate negligence in implementing the orders of the government regarding development project," he warned and ordered action against officers responsible for delays in execution of project.

The chief minister also expressed dismay over delay in the release of funds for the prime minister's drought relief package and various development projects launched under DERA and DIMRC programmes in the province. He ordered the officials concerned to release funds without any further delay for the projects under these programme.
