MIRPURKHAS: Two killed on road

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 25: Two people were killed and 10 others injured when a coaster rammed into a donkey-cart and then hit a tractor-trolley on the Digri-Mirpurkhas road near Junejo Mori on Sunday night.

Those killed were identified as Khuda Bux Kaloi, 50, the donkey-cart owner from Dost Ali Kaloi village and cleaner of the coaster Abdul Rehman Arain, 14.

The injured -- Rasho, 18, son of Hamzo, Khuda Dino, 26, Soro, 30, Azeem, 10 and Allah Bachayo, 18, - were admitted to the Taluka Hospital Digri.

In another incident, a teacher was killed and another received injuries in a road accident near Kathri on the Mirpurkhas-Sindhri road on Sunday.

Two motorcycles collided head-on killing Ghulam Mohammad.

The injured, Siraj Narejo, was admitted to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas. Later, he was referred to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad.

SUICIDE: A woman reportedly committed suicide in the Chaudhry Shafi Jatt village in Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka on Sunday.

Pathani, 20, wife of Bhagchand Meghwar, committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in a room of her house.

Her brother Ramesh told DPO Mirpurkhas that his sister did not commit suicide but was murdered by her husband.-BoC
