KARACHI, Oct 18: A seminar on the topic "Business Success through Human Resource Management" was organized by the Southern Regional Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

The seminar was attended by a large number of Chartered Accountants, from the profession and industry and Human Resource Personnel from multinational and local companies.

Leon Menezes, General Manager Shell Pakistan Ltd., highlighted the importance of learning and development; the role of culture; Human Resource policies; rewards; behaviour; career opportunities; and performance management in the changing business scenario.

Syed Nusrat Ali in his presentation discussed the vital points that boosted employee morale and talked about how to energize them. Farooq Hassan, Executive Director of Management Association of Pakistan (MAP), in his concluding remarks congratulated the speakers for their enlightenment on the subject. Abdul Rahim Suria, Council Member ICAP, presented his vote of thanks.
