HYDERABAD, Oct 17: The Pakistan People's Party (Shaheed Bhutto) will take out a procession here on December 28 against high prices of petroleum products and power tariff and inadequate prices of sugarcane and cotton.

The chairperson of the party, Ghinwa Bhutto, will lead the procession. This was announced at a meeting held here on Saturday and presided over by Piral Majeedano advocate.

The meeting condemned the murder of a Chinese engineer in South Waziristan and termed it a proof of inefficiency of the government.

It also condemned arrests of college teachers in Karachi and termination of 64 local employees at the Kunnar gas plant near Tandojam.

The meeting demanded arrest of killers of Mir Murtaza Bhutto and his companions, Ali Sunaro and Jahangir Lasi, and exemplary punishment to them.

The PPP-SP meeting opposed the Kalabagh dam and Thal Canal projects and observed that the projects could endanger the integrity of Pakistan. -Bureau
