Rocca arrives

ISLAMABAD, Oct 16: The US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia, Christina Rocca, arrived here on Saturday for a four-day visit.

According to foreign office sources, Ms Rocca would hold talks on a wide range of issues with Pakistani leadership including war against terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation, situation in Afghanistan and Iran.

Officials said Ms Rocca is expected to call on President Gen Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and her counter part in the foreign office.

Ms Rocca has been a frequent visitor to the region as part of her official assignments, an official said.
