QUETTA, Oct 15: At least five persons, including a woman and a six-year-old girl, were killed and five others injured after a Karachi-bound passenger coach collided with a tractor parked on the RCD Highway near Uthal on Friday night.

"Five passengers, including a young girl, were killed on the spot," a police officer told this correspondent over telephone from Uthal. The accident occurred near the Khandra Bridge on the RCD Highway, some five kilometres from Uthal. The 32-seat passenger coach was en route to Karachi from Quetta.
