KARACHI, Oct 14: Two persons were killed in separate incidents on Thursday. Khamiso, a resident of Jecobabad, was shot dead by two suspects at Sabu goth near Port Qasim.

Police said Khamiso's brother lodged an FIR, nominating Dar Mohammad and Sher Dil Khan as suspects. Police suspected personal enmity behind the killing. Meanwhile, the charred body of woman was recovered from a graveyard near Defence View on Thursday morning. Police said the body could not be identified. It was shifted to JPMC.

SUICIDE: Durnak, 40, wife of Saifullah, committed suicide in Surjani on Thursday as she reportedly consumed some poisonous substance. She was taken to Abbasi Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. The victim was mother of five.

ACCIDENTS: Three persons died in separate road accidents in the city on Thursday. A young motorcyclist, Nasarullah Khan, 27, died in a road accident in North Karachi on Thursday when he was hit by a speeding vehicle. Police said the victim was an employee of the HBL.

At Guru Mandir, another motorcyclist, Ashraf, 35, a resident of Taj Complex, was hit by a bus of route 2-D. After the accident, unidentified people damaged the bus. Police have arrested the errant driver, Ghazi Khan.

A pedestrian died in a road accident near Old Sabzi Mandi. Police said Ahsan, 25, was crossing main University Road when he was hit by a motorcycle. He was taken to JPMC for treatment where he died during treatment.

ARRESTED: Police have arrested a man with a motorcycle bearing a fake registration of Army near Governor's House on Thursday. Police said the suspect was identified as Hafiz Mohammad Ismail. Artillery Maidan police said that real number of the two-wheeler was KAE-1033, and it was stolen from Manghopir PS jurisdiction on Sept 9.
