By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Oct 11: Four-wicket haul for 43 runs by off-spinner Ali Azmat helped Lahore beat Multan by 25 runs in the inter- regional Level-II match at the Bahawalpur Stadium on Monday.

Multan were chasing an imposing target of 249 for win but were 223 for nine nine wickets before the allotted 45 overs were finished. Rehan Rafiq (78) showed defiance but his efforts fell short.
