LAS VEGAS, Oct 10: Tom Lehman is poised to grab his first victory for four years after claiming a one-shot lead following the third round of the $4 million Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday.

The 45-year-old American, who has not won since the 2000 Phoenix Open, fired a six-under-par 66 at Bear's Best, one of three courses being used here this week, for a 17-under total of 198.

Former British Open champion Lehman has only one top-10 finish to his credit this year, a tie for fourth place at last month's Canadian Open. Dicky Pride (66) and Australia's Andre Stolz (65) shared second position on 199.

Overnight leader JL Lewis fell back into a tie for fourth on 200 after a one-under 70 at the TPC at The Canyons course. He was joined on that mark by Australia's Greg Chalmers, Bob Estes, Olin Browne, Tim Petrovic, Duffy Waldorf and Harrison Frazar. A total of 17 players were within four shots of Lehman at the end of the round.
