PML-N to observe black day on 12th

ISLAMABAD, Oct 9: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to observe October 12 as black day throughout the country to protest against removal of its elected government by Gen Pervez Musharraf five years ago.

A party office-bearer told Dawn on Saturday that the PML-N would set up protest camps throughout the country to protest against the military take-over on October 12, 1999.

He said protest rallies would also be arranged in different cities and town to mark the day.He said prominent party leaders and parliamentarians would also speak at corner meetings to highlight the negative aspects of the military rule in the country.
