Alleged terrorist got paid for bomb blasts

By Mansoor Mirani

KHAIRPUR, Oct 8: An alleged terrorist recently arrested by Khairpur police has confessed during interrogation that he had attacked about 10 Mosques and Madressahs in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and adjoining areas.

This was stated by ASP city, Javed Jiskani, while talking to newsmen here on Friday. He said that there was no evidence that the accused, Khwaja Muhammad Waseem, belonged to any religious party organization.

He was the second-in-commanded of a mercenary group which carried out terrorist activities on payment.

The ASP said that the man belonged to an anti-state group and he had also disclosed names of some other leaders and members of his group. According to the ASP, over 100 people were killed in incidents of firing and bomb blasts carried out by Muhammad Waseem.
