Top stars for amateur championship

LAHORE, Oct 7: Twenty golfers from India, Iran, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan will vie for different events to be held in the 44th amateur golf championship of Pakistan at the Lahore Gymkhana course from Friday.
India are already in the city while other teams Iran, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have also arrived. Iran has also sent a three member women's team to play against Pakistan in a three-day event to be held from Saturday.
Pakistan has retained the four-member team of Dr Aimal Zaman, Shahid Javed Khan, Vaqas Ahmad and Tariq Mahmood. The one-day Jayewardene Trophy will be held on Oct 10.
TEAMS:
PAKISTAN: Shahid Javed Khan, Vaqas Ahmed, Dr Aimal Zaman, Tariq Mehmood.
INDIA: Jaskirat Singh Dullet, Amarbir Singh, Vikrant Choopra, Jaideep Ganpatrao Patwardhan.
SRI LANKA: Tissa Chandradasa, K Prabagaran, M Amarapadma, Mithun Perera. Iran: Davoud Ososta Ashitiani, Hasan Karimian Noshahr, Jahangir Nasiri, Manoucher Nasiri. Bangladesh: Muhammad Milon Miah, Muhammad Sohel, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Suruj Miah.
WOMEN:
IRAN: Ferozey Mohammed Zamani, Behnaz Sarbazi, Laila Sarbazi.
