PCB official misbehaves with Adviser

KARACHI, Oct 5: The Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information and Archives, Salahuddin Haider has lodged a strong protest with the Pakistan Cricket Board Chief (PCB) Shaharyar Khan for misbehavior of Media Consultant, Abbas Zaidi at the National Stadium.

According to an official handout issued on Tuesday, the Adviser had visited the Stadium to review arrangements for local and foreign media, both print and electronic, and wanted to discuss official matters with "Media Consultant".

"He was extremely discourteous in his behavior. He not only refused to offer seat to the Adviser who enjoys status of the Minister in Sindh Government but was also nominated Media Coordinator and Member of the Organizing Committee for the tri-nation series against Sri Lanka.

The Adviser has brought the matter to the notice of the Sports Minister, Qamar Mansoor who is also the Chairman of the Organizing Committee. The Adviser has taken a very serious view of this matter and wants PCB chief to take action against the official concerned, it concluded. -APP
