Five die in accident

NAWABSHAH, Oct 1: Five people were killed and four others injured when a trailer carrying a container fell on a push cart on Friday.

The accident occurred about 40 kilometres from Moro on the Dadu Bypass when the Karachi-bound trailer after hitting the push cart fell on it.

As a result Imran, 12, Nazir, 20, Imran Makrani, 15, and Shaban, 15, were killed on the spot. The identity of the fifth deceased could not be ascertained. Eye witnesses suspected there were more bodies under the container which could not be removed till late evening.

Moro and the Motorway police were trying to lift the container till the filing of this report.

Those injured were identified as Nasrullah, Dost Mohammad, Arbab Ali and Akbar Ali. Out of them, Nasrullah, was admitted to the People's Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. -APP
