KHAIRPUR, Oct 1: The irrigation department has announced a water rotation programme for the Khairpur West Feeder and Nara Canal from October 1 to 15 because of water shortage in the River Indus.

Mature crops of cotton, sugarcane and paddy in Kingri, Gambat, Khairpur and Sobhodero talukas will be affected by the water rotation plan for the Khairpur West Feeder.
