France to help set up museum in Quetta

QUETTA Sept 30: French Consul-General Jean Yves Berthault has said that the government of France will cooperate with the Balochistan government for establishing a museum in Quetta.

He gave the assurance to Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf during a meeting with him here on Thursday. He also expressed the keen interest in installing a water-purification plant and another plant for generating electricity through garbage recycling in Gwadar and said that French investors would be persuaded to make investment in Balochistan.

The chief minister informed the French consul general about investment opportunities in Balochistan and incentives being provided by the government. Both the sides also exchanged views on promotion of tourism and improvement of environmental condition in the province. -APP
