KARACHI, Sept 26: Tickets for the Oct 6 triangular one-day series match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the National Stadium will be available from Sept 30th, the Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) announced on Sunday.

Compared to the money-minting home series against India earlier this year, the ticket rates have been brought down to attract spectators in large numbers. The tickets will be available at the designated branches of Bank Alfalah and the booths at the National Stadium.

The KCCA, which has been given a substantial role by the PCB in the organization of the ODI and next month's second Test against Sri Lanka, have formed various committees to ensure trouble-free matches.

The tickets for the Hanif Mohammad, Javed Miandad and Fazal Mahmood stands are priced at Rs500 each. Rs200 will be charged for a seat in the Majid Khan, Wasim Akram, Zaheer Abbas, Imran Khan and Waqar Hasan enclosures.

The tickets for general enclosure will cost Rs50 each while tickets for the Asif Iqbal have been put up for sale at Rs100 apiece. Special children will be allowed to enter the stadium free of charge.

Meanwhile, Munir Hussain, the KCCA president, was conspicuous by his absence during the meeting of the organizing committee at the Governor's House on Saturday afternoon.

The meeting, chaired by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, was attended by Aslam Sanjrani, the chief secretary of Sindh, PCB chief Shaharyar M. Khan, DG Rangers Major Gen Javed Zia, IGP Syed Kamal Shah, CCPO Tariq Jamil and senior KCCA officials.

Sirajul Islam Bukhari, the KCCA honorary secretary who is also the organizing secretary, underwent bypass surgery recently. But in Munir Hussain's absence, he is being forced to take care of administrative matters on KCCA's behalf.
