HYDERABAD, Sept 25: Noted urologist Professor (Dr) Ali Bux Jatoi was laid to rest at the graveyard of the University Colony in Jamshoro on Friday.

The professor, the elder brother of Medical Superintendent of the Liaquat University Hospital Dr Hadi Bux Jatoi, died of cardiac arrest in a Peshawar hospital from where his body was flown to Hyderabad. He was 65.

Hundreds of people, including university teachers, doctors, students, relatives and friends attended his funeral.

Academic and co-curricular activities were suspended in the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.

Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Jan Mohammad Memon, deans and teaching and administrative staff have expressed grief over his demise.
