GUWAHATI, Sept 22: Ten people, including a state government minister and two lawmakers, were killed in a helicopter crash in India's mountainous north-east on Wednesday, officials said.
The helicopter went down near Shillong, capital of tiny Meghalaya state. "There were 10 people on board in the helicopter, two crew members and eight passengers. There is no chance that anyone survived," said K.M. Mauskar, principal secretary of Meghalaya Transport Department. -Reuters
