FAISALABAD: Wife, son of mill-owner killed by outlaws

FAISALABAD, Sept 19: Unidentified gangsters shot dead the wife and a son of a flour mill owner here on Saturday night in Nisar Colony.

Reports said the outlaws forced their entry into the house of Haji Muhammad Yousaf and tried to loot valuables. On resistance, they opened fire killing Aziza Bibi and Rizwan (18) on the spot.

The area police have sent the bodies to hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, unidentified assailants axed to death a girl, Gulnaz Tabassum, when she went to fields at Chak 85-GB.

BOOKED: On the orders of the additional district and sessions judge, the Samundri police on Sunday registered a case against a UC Naib Nazim and four others on charges of kidnapping a boy.

Muhammad Ashraf lodged a complaint with the additional district and sessions judge alleging that Naib Nazim Mirza Tariq Tabassum and Abdul Raoof, Zulfiqar, Abdul Majeed and Ghafran had kidnapped his son.

Mr Ashraf claimed that he had tried his best to get a case registered against the influential accused. The court ordered the police to register a case against the accused. The police booked the accused under Sections 364, 148 and 149 of the PPC. However, no arrest has so far been made.
