LAHORE: Accidents claim four lives

LAHORE, Sept 19: Four people were killed in accidents in various parts of the city on Sunday. Three friends, Abdullah, Qaisar and Ahmad in their 20s, were on their way when a truck rammed into their motorcycle at Shahalam Chowk.

The three youngsters sustained critical injuries and were taken to the Mayo Hospital where Abdullah and Qaisar died. The condition of Ahmad was stated to be critical.

Ammar (18) and Irfan (20) were zigzagging their motorcycle when it struck against an electric pole near the Sherpao Bridge. They both sustained wounds and were rushed to the Services Hospital where Ammar died. Usman (17) was on his way home when he lost control over the steering and his car fell into a canal in Batapur. He got critical injuries and died on the spot.

ARRESTED: Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested seven robbers. Those arrested are Kashif, Faisal, Asif, Fahad, Zaidullah, Rashid and Shamsuddin.
