KARACHI, Sept 14: The Vice-President, Pakistan Muslim League-N, Sindh, Mian Ejaz Shafi, has said in view of the increasing incidents of lawlessness, murders and kidnappings, people are living a life of terror and insecurity, which is not a healthy sign.
Talking to Dawn, he said that with the arrival of President Pervez Musharraf in Karachi, the mega polis manifested as if it was a hostage city where people could not move freely.
He said that all main arteries were either blocked by LEA personnel or by traffic jams, causing immense convenience to the public particularly labours, who were the worst sufferers, reaching late for work.
Likewise, he said that events and developments in Wana and Balochistan were matters of concern for everyone, but rulers were taking them lightly. President, PML-N, Sindh Chapter Syed Ghous Ali Shah said that he had upheld the politics of principles throughout his life, advising party youths to do the same.
Mr Shah, in a telephone conversation from London to President, Sindh wing youths Naveed Anwar, appreciated the role of party youths, who didn't let down the party in the absence of the party leadership. He said he would not part ways with Nawaz Sharif.
