Quaid's death anniversary to be observed today
ISLAMABAD, Sept 10: The 56th death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed on Saturday throughout the country with reverence and solemnity.
Quran Khawani will be held and special prayers would be offered for the eternal peace of the soul of the Father of the Nation.
Special functions will be held by various organzations in memory of the Quaid where speakers will highlight various aspects of his life.
Radio and television will air special programmes befitting the occasion. A large number of people will participate in the Quran Khuwani to be held at the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. -PPI
