Shahbaz to coach Scots

KARACHI, Sept 8: Pakistan legendary hockey player Shahbaz Ahmed will impart training and coaching to Scotland's hockey coaches and players from Sept 29 to Oct 2.

According to the details made available on Wednesday, Scottish hockey coaches and players are all set to benefit from the skills and experiences of one of Pakistan's all-time greats and World Cup hero Shahbaz.

Shahbaz, who is widely considered to be the finest player of his generation, dominated world hockey in the 1990s with his dexterity, dazzling skills and amazing runs to mesmerize seemingly impenetrable defenses.

While in Scotland, Shahbaz will conduct a series of coaching clinics with players and coaches around the country including five of the six Area Institutes of Sport. -PPI
