ISLAMABAD, Sept 8: The overall water inflow at various rim stations recorded on Wednesday was at 132,704 cusecs with total outflow of 216,879 cusecs.
According to official sources, the water level at Tarbela, the biggest water reservoir was 1469.05 feet, 100 feet higher than the dead level of 1,369 feet.
However, the present water level at the dam is still 81 feet lower than the total capacity of 1550 feet of the dam. Water inflow at the dam remained 73,900 cusecs and release was recorded at 140,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla dam was recorded at 1165.40 feet, 125 feet above the dead level of 1040 feet.
Water inflow at the dam remained 11,925 cusecs while the outflow was at 30,000 cusecs against the total capacity of 1202 feet. The contribution of River Kabul and River Chenab was recorded at 13,900 cusecs and 32,979 cusecs respectively. The following was the water situation at various dams:
