ABBOTTABAD, Sept 6: Hazara division got a big share in the federal government getting three of the four cabinet posts which went to the NWFP. The important slot of the deputy speaker of the National Assembly is also with the Hazara division.
In the new federal cabinet, Amanullah Khan Jadoon, elected from Abbottabad-1, has been given the portfolio of petroleum and gas, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob elected from Abbottabad-2 was already in possession of the slot of deputy speaker of the National Assembly and Omer Ayub Khan from Haripur district has been included in the cabinet as minister of state for finance.
Senator Aneesa Zeb Thair Kheli belongs to Haripur district and has been inducted as federal minister of state for information and broadcasting.
The MMA made a clean sweep in entire the NWFP in the general election, PML could only get four National Assembly seats from the NWFP and all were from Hazara division. In all seven MPAs were elected on PML-Q ticket from the province.
