MUZAFFARABAD, Sept 2: The additional chief secretary (development) of the AJK Sardar Abdul Rashid Khan was given a two-year extension.

According to a notification, Mr Khan, who was to retire from service on Friday , would continue to work as ACS (D), the notification said, adding that the terms and conditions of his contract would be fixed later.

According to another notification, Education secretary Dr Raja Muhammad Arif Khan, a BPS-21 officer, was appointed as additional chief secretary (general). The appointment on comes into effect from Saturday and he will continue as the education secretary.
