ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain on Thursday reserved his decision on privilege motions separately moved by MMA legislators Liaqat Baloch and Mohammad Laeeq Khan.

Adjournment motions submitted by the two leaders of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal criticized the interior minister's statement in which he had said that some Al Qaeda terrorists had been arrested from the houses of members of the Jamaat-i-Islami.

They said that the Interior Minister was trying to mislead people. Both lawmakers requested that their motions should be discussed in the house or sent to the standing committee concerned. -APP
