Briton Parke outguns Farrukh


SHEFFIELD, Aug 11: Pakistan's Farrukh Zaman failed to make his way in the main round of the Mamut English Open squash championship at the Crucible Theatre after losing against England's Simon Parke in straight sets.

Farrukh tried his best but it proved futile against his far superior opponent in a matchat that took almost on hour. He eventually lost 15-7, 15-9, 15-13. Pakistan No 1 Mansoor Zaman who is ranked 20 in world was drawn to meet local favourite Lee Beachill in the first round.
