DADU, July 29: A large number of people staged a demonstration outside the press club on Thursday to protest against officials of Nadra. The president of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Dadu city, Mujeeb Panhwar and the president of the Citizens Action Committee , Inayat Jamali, led the protest.

Speaking on the occasion, Mujeeb Panhwar alleged the manager of the Nadra office, Dadu, was taking a Rs500 bribe per CNIC. He said objections were raised on documents of those who refuse to pay the amount.

Sarfaraz Korejo alleged that the district registration officer was receiving Rs300 per form for the verification of record. They also observed a token hunger strike outside the press club.

MEDICAL CAMP: The Helping Hand Development Organization organised medical camps in Gharibabad and Soorajabad vicinities of the town on Thursday. Doctors examined patients and provided them medicines free of cost. Sajjad Abro of the Helping Hand Development Organisation told newsmen that about 1,000 patients were examined in the medical camps.
