Roddick wins twice on way to last eight
NEW YORK, July 23: Top seed Andy Roddick overcame blisters on his right hand and inclement weather to win two matches and advance to the last eight at the RCA Tennis Championships in Indianapolis on Thursday.
The defending champion finished off qualifier Michel Kratochvil in a rain-suspended match in the afternoon and ousted 15th-seeded Robby Ginepri 7-6, 6-4 in a night match.
