PESHAWAR, July 22: A complaint cell has been set up in the office of Accountant-General of the NWFP for redressing grievances of provincial employees relating to their GP Fund contribution.

The decision has been taken in pursuance of the directives of Accountant-General Ahmad Rasool Bangash, said a press release issued here on Thursday.

Miss Nafees Rahim, Deputy Accountant-General (Funds) will supervise the cell. This cell shall deal with the GP Fund related issues of the provincial government employees.

All the civil servants have been advised to submit their complaints to the officer in charge of the cell or in case of absence of the above, internal check officer be contacted.

The press release said that all complaints with exception of complaints pertaining to the other district/agency accounts offices will be disposed within a week of its receipt.

It added that all such applications should accompany the photo copies of GP Fund balance sheets or pay rolls issued from time to time by the AG office.

In case no satisfactory response is received, Deputy Accountant- General (Funds) can be contacted directly for immediate necessary action. All applications should bear the complete GP Fund account number, period of dispute, etc and other relevant documents.-APP
