The governor said he had discussed this issue with leaders of various political parties and members of parliament including Pukhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Nawab Mohammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, National Party Chief Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, BNP's Akbar Mengal and Akhtar Lango.

It was a matter of great satisfaction that all those leaders expressed the same view over the issue and assured him of cooperation of their parties in this regard, he said.

Governor Owais urged students, teachers, parents, politicians and other people of society to play a positive role in eliminating political activities from the educational institutions for the bright future of young generation and the country.

"This issue could be resolved with the consensus of all people," he said, adding that the people should come forward and extend help and cooperation to the government. But there was no ban on students's participation in politics outside the educational institutions, he said.
