Sources in the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, said about 350, out of over 60,000 regular candidates of part-II general and science groups, had applied for the IT (optional) paper.

The number of candidates, who appeared in the IT exams last year, was about 3,500. The theory paper of IT would be held on July 31 from 9am to 12 noon, while related practical exams would be held on Aug 2.

The exams would be held at two centres, S.M. Government Science College (for males) and Sir Syed Government Girls College (for females).
