MUZAFFARABAD, July 19: Former AJK prime minister and ruling Muslim Conference leader Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan spoke on the need to provide an opportunity to Kashmiris from both sides of the Line of Control , and therefore it is necessary to arrive at an amicable solution to the festering problem, in accordance with the wishes of the main party.

He was speaking to a delegation of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan which called on him here at State Guest House, on its arrival here the other day on a two-day visit.

The delegation comprising acting Human Rights Commission of Pakistan chairman Tahir Mahmood Khan, former chairman Afrasayab Khattak, secretary Hina Jilani and others presented the commission's report on human rights abuses in Pakistan to the veteran Kashmiri leader on the occasion.
