KASUR: Man, son killed

KASUR, July 10: Seven people shot dead a man and his son and injured five other family members over a petty issue here on Saturday at Raja Jang village.

Police said Ismail, Arshad along with their five accomplices were digging clay from the wall of Sharif Baig's house. He forbade them but they continued the practice and exchanged harsh words.

Later, they shot dead Sharif and his son Shakoor Baig and injured Razia Bibi, Hafiz Yaqoob, Riaz Ahmad, Hafeez and Sultan who were admitted to the DHQ hospital.

Farooq Ahmed was standing along with his sister Sharifan at a bus stand when a bus (LHC-9660) hit them, resulting in the death of the boy while his sister was admitted to the local health centre.
