Weapons seized near Bara

ISLAMABAD, July 4: The Frontier Constabulary on Sunday seized arms and ammunition, including 57 sub-machine-guns, 147 pistols, two rifles and 100 detonators at Milward near Bara.

According to the sources, an FC patrol team signalled a Toyota Corolla car to stop but its occupants disembarked and fled. On search of the car, 57 SMGs, 112 30-bore pistols, 30 12-bore pistols, five 32-bore pistols, two 7mm rifles, 100 detonators, 12,000 SMG rounds and 6,700 rounds of 30-bore pistol were found. -APP
