ISLAMABAD, July 4: Bus services will be started during this year from Islamabad to China, Middle East and Iran with the cooperation of the private sector.

District Transport Authority (DTA) Islamabad has been asked to give suggestions to introduce quality service, according to the expectations of passengers.

Talking to APP here on Sunday, a DTA source said different national companies had offered their services to share the mega plan and added that only one company had been recommended while others were being considered.

He said the schedule of the bus service to different countries will be announced at the time of launching the project. He said service would definitely promote trade and tourism among these countries which would bring prosperity in the region. -APP
